A bit before the night...
1. Mr Mousie and I started watching Rough Cut, a movie about a violent actor and a gangster who always wanted to act. So very ridiculously good. But pretty grim and dark, so be warned.
2. I have also splurged and purchased shiny East of Eden DVDs, mainly because I want to watch this scene in great quality on my big TV:
I love how frelling fierce she is even when kidnapped, tied up, and told she will die.
She is so very tough when threatened.
But she gets utterly terrified when he's in danger and trying to get him to leave.
He sees her. *thud*
What? He is pretty, leave me alone.
Did I mention the whole thing where he is wounded but he totally ignores it because he is fixated on her being OK? mmmm.
She is so gorgeous. Even when telling him to stay away forever because she is going to get him killed and that if he tries to come after her again she will kill herself (girl does have a tendency to cut).
