Yessssss!
I am going to start Easy Fortune Happy Life, a currently-airing Taiwanese drama which seems like Brilliant Legacy. On crack.

Starring Lan Cheng Long (my reason for watching - he was awesome in The Outsiders and also has cheekbones to die for) as the haughty, ruthless grandson of a rich tycoon and Chen Qiao En as plucky poor girl (I didn't care for the actress in the preview but I know
uisceros likes her, so hopefully she will grow on me), EFHL's set-up is as follows:
The rich elderly owner of a large business decides to finally right a wrong he did to a woman many decades ago (through seducing and abandoning her). His solution? To leave his enormous fortune to that woman's granddaughter (not related to him) - our plucky and poor heroine, Chen Qiao En. Well...grandpa won't leave the family out in the cold entirely. He will have his grandson, Lan Cheng Long, who was the previous heir, marry Chen Qiao En - if he does not, no fortune for him. Lan Cheng Long is not a nice person and is not from a nice family (as one of the lines I've seen puts it, "in our family, people have fun only when someone gets disinherited") and has no desire to lose the wealth or share it with strings attached. So he does what any normal, law-abiding, conscientious citizen would - that's right, hire a killer to take out his fiancee. Yes, he is the hero of the piece. And it is kind of him to make other bad boy heroes of kdrama look like milquetoasts in comparison.
But look on the bright side, Chen Qiao En - your marriage can only get better from that point - there is nowhere lower for it to go :)
Anyway, this is supposed to be a comedy and I think I will enjoy it immensely.
Awwwww - doesn't this picture just scream "this is the guy who's hired a hit man to kill me?"
