Black and Black - B&W ep 20

I have finally caught up with Black and White ep 20 and I think it's my favorite ep so far.

I am not sure who to feel sorrier for, Ying Xiong or Zai Tian.

Poor Ying Xiong - he not only found out that so many facts in his life are a lie, but that the very foundations, the principles by which he existed - triumph of justice, the black-and-whiteness of things, are a total illusion and a lie. The good guys are not, former friends and lovers can stab you in the back, and he is a Mob Boss' child. Did I mention that the woman he fell in love with turns out to be his half-sister? His confession to Chen Lin wasincredibly heartbreaking. And the ep ends with Zai Tian, his partner, his closest friend, betraying him.

But Zai Tian! Has finally reached snapping point and snapped and went dark. I can't say that I blame him - everybody important in his life lied to him and used him - he was always a pawn, substitute, and someone to be used. Not only has his whole life been hijacked and manipulated by someone who mistook him for another and when found out his mistake just cut him off saying 'let's be friends', he has to face the fact that (a) he broke the law to get Mob Boss escape wrongly believing he was his son, (b) Ying Xiong has TWO families now and he has nothing and (c) his mother is not his mother and likely took him in to fool any pursuers so her biological son can be safe. Which Chief (who I bet is the bad guy) pouring poison into his ear, no wonder he snapped in a big way- going to arrest Ying Xiong, threatening Chen Lin to have YX turned over or he'd arrest Mob Boss etc.

My fave scenes are either YX's confession to Chen Lin, Zai Tian's confrontation with Mob Boss, or the final scene with YX and ZT - that was chilling.
