I hope you enjoy Otomen! I've read the first two volumes and whatever they have on Mangafox and I really like it. Plus, my favorite actress will be in the drama (along with the guy that she was with in the movie that I found her in, :flails:)! :3 So expect a lot of flailing from me. XD

Yikes. I feel really sorry for Joo Ji Hoon. He's one of the very few Korean actors I can abide. With Gong Yoo in the army and Kim Hye Sung an elusive presence, I predict a drought in quality male-acting in the Kdrama/Kmovie area.

My fave kdrama actors are all 30 or older, except for JJH and Lee Junki - I was actually quite happy there wese some actors that were younger than 30 thus had more "years" left in them, but that number just shrank way dramatically 50%. Oh well. I like a few of the really younger ones as screen presences - Jung Il Woo, Kim Bum, Lee Min Ho (if he does something else that is, one badly-written drama is too little to judge on) but they are too young for me to find attractive, alas.

Interesting. I actually read somewhere else (Popseoul? I think) that he wasn't getting the time and only had to pay $3500 (in US dollars) fine.

Dramabeans said the 1yr thing. Of course the judge can impose from nothing to 5 yrs so who knows what he'll get

Just yesterday I was telling a friend how bummed I was about JJH. I haven't kept up with the news really. I just watched Naked Kitchen this weekend and was sad to think it might be the last thing I ever see him in. He's such a good actor. I'm so bummed. I hope he avoids jail.

I'm really finding it hard to belive that his career is really over and he might go to jail. I mean, I knew Korea was a lot more conservative than the US, but I'm in semi-disbelief - the worst that would happen to an actor here I think is he'd drop out of acting for maybe a year, and it's highly unlikely he'd actually end up in jail - our justice system doesn't like putting away celebs:( I'm not super super upset since he's not one of my favorites..but I'm just finding it really weird.

also, while JJH himself might not be gay, with all the gay movies or whatever that he's made, I wouldn't want to be him in jail :(

I really really like him so I am extra upset, but I would have been shocked no matter who it was - because here it would be such a nonissue. Though of course he knew the penalties for it and still chose to do it so he knew the risks...
