Black and White ep 15: wherein hotness rises exponentially...

Jun 06, 2009 01:29

I have watched episode 15 of Black and White and loved loved loved it (it's such a perfect drama so far - I would not change anything at all).

Counsel of War. In one corner, corrupt businessmen and politicians, in other a ragtag team. But we know which is prettier!

We have Zai Tian, a cop who barely finished cop school and whose very identity is a lie:

We have Ying Xiong, a heroic cop who sees the world too much in black and white:

We have the Forensics Specialist, who is brainy AND super-cool and keeps her head in the worst situations...She is YX's good friend and at one time wanted something more...

Chen Lin's the beloved daughter of a Triad Mob Boss who can outshoot and outfight most men. YX is in love with her but she only has eyes for Zai Tian. Did I mention that Zai Tian and she may be half-siblings?

We have Xiao Ma, an escaped former assassin for the evil guys who is now on the side of good and is scarily competent. Latest demonstration of awesomeness? Demolishing a whole bunch of bad guys while without weapons and after being handcuffed and locked in a car trunk. (No, that will never cease to be cool).

Ana another one...

Even Zai Tian's issues have issues :)

I used to have them as an alternate ship but not any more...

Are cops ever really this hot?

The tough, awesome ladies of B&W:

Don't you want to make it all better?

I have an oral fixation...

Here for Vic prettiness. I have no excuse. If he is really Chen Lin's half-brother, I'll kick something...

Awww, he remembers Hamburger Girl - he stuck with all this for her :( Be kind to the less fortunate - one day they might turn into Vic Zhou.

A lot of his playboy attitude is explained - not only does he not see his present life as anything in his control or permanent, that is the first time women actually fall over themselves wanting him. (I did find it interesting that they only faked papers so he could get into police academy and he actually studied in the police academy - he is actually a real cop, for what it's worth).

In the aftermath of the Mob Boss' arrest (I find that I actually like Da Yan - he is a big mobster but there is a certain degree of integrity in him and he is loyal to the boss unto death. This mob is a more idealized portrayal than the probably more realistic and nasty view of it in The Outsiders):

DA-DUN! The big reveal! Of Zai Tian being Mob Boss' son and Chen Lin's half-sibling. I am still not buying it. But Zai Tian and Chen Lin do and the latter is devastated and the former is totally angry (I am with him - what kind of father ditches a kid in total poverty and then gives him a horrible plastic surgery as a find-you present? WTF!)

AWWWWWW. Chen Lin and Zai Tian try to process that they are siblings while dwelling on the past - seriously, people, there is no way they are siblings! Is this scene shot as if they were?

No matter how lousy the night, you still need to go to work in the morning :)

Blablah plot blahblah. We know what I am concentrating on...

Plot.

I like these shots...

Did I mention plot?

And we top it off with another fun evening...

He really is freakily perfect from every possible angle. It's kinda surreal. No wonder the drama says he had a complete surgery...(Amusingly, unlike a lot of plastic-fantastic Korean stars, it's pretty unlikely Vic Zhou had anything done - he looks the same as when he debuted and he was a random university student before that. He must be the biggest genetic lottery winner ever).

In conclusion: so not siblings. This is from the trailer and hasn't happened yet. No way would they be necking if they continue to believe they are siblings *puts on tinfoil hat*:

Bonus plot:

Apparently, people also make B&W vids.
