The drama fairy taketh away but giveth back a bit

Am still hugely upset over the whole Joo Ji Hoon thing - in a country as conservative and anti-drug like Korea, his career is almost certainly toast, and the thought of never having anything more from him than two dramas and two movies gives me RAGE - grrr, why can't it be like here where nobody cares! (I saw someone comment that they can't find ( Read more... )

joo ji hoon, doramas2, daemul

It sucks that he got busted because I was totally looking forward to that Tokyo Tower drama.

Me too - I think he would have been really good in it. Grrrr. It still might go forward I suppose, but it won't be the same.

There goes any fantasy I've ever had about a true sequel to Goong. *sadface*

Hey, it's kind of like karma: when one thing happens, another will come up because of it.

...okay, not really, and that sounded kind of retarded. Whatever, XD

Why, out of the handful of dramas I've seen, did the awesome hot star of one of the best have to disappear on me?

If Lee Min Ho does the same, I'll say I cursed them :(

I am just sad about Joo Ji Hoon as he showed such promise.

As for Daemul - any news on a new cast/crew or where they able to get the original people back?

They are trying to get the original people back - I hope it works out.

I'm still upset over it too (I obsessively check news about it all the time... I'm highly interested in seeing the other parties... morbid curiosity).

I don't get the people who don't like him/find him attractive anymore either. It's like no one ever made a mistake in the history of the world. He's young, and rich. It's no wonder he decided to do some drugs. I know I'm extremely liberal, but really? Doing drugs on two occasions? That should not be ruining a person's life.

I obsessively check too.

Seriously - I am about as straight-arrow as they come about these things: I have never done drugs, never even smoked, and don't drink (I have about a glass every year, socially) and I still think it's ridiculous: so he did drugs - what does it have to do with his skill as an actor? But then I am all for liberalizing the drug laws so...

I'm really interested as to who the other celebrities are...

I'm the same way. I've never done drugs either, and I actually don't think US drugs laws should be that much more liberalized, but I think it's ridiculous too.
