J-Hanadan MVs...
Because the Korean adaptation of Hana Yori Dango is beginning to piss me off so much, here is a jdrama MV or two to cheer self up.

Seriously, I know I've raved both about the twdrama and the jdrama before but it bears repeating: except for Mars, the Japanese adaptation of Hanadan is the best manga adaptation I have ever seen - it manages to be true to the spirit without being true to the letter. Oh God, how I miss Makino who had a spine of steel and Domyouji who was uncontrollable and fixated on Makino. GRRRR.
After filmi-girl and I finish Meteor Garden, am so rewatching both seasons of Hanadan. How come the whole fiancee thing and Domyouji temporarily distancing himself thing were so not annoying in the jdrama but are horrible in the kdrama? For one, neither was near as drawn out, and for another you saw how unfunctional the OTP was without each other - Jun Pyo is functioning OK while Domyouji was in nervous break-down land. And he was never such a bastard about breaking up either - and his reason was so much more valid. And Makino didn't solely mope all day.
Where is my rain scene, K-Hanadan, where? Or, if you are stealing from the jdrama instead (as you are, unsuccessfully) where is my scene of Domyouji kneeling to Rui, begging Rui to let Makino go? Ah yes, same places where the OTP's spines went - location unknown.
