BOF 19: how on earth is this not the final canon ship? How?

Hold on, hold on: she searches for him in the rain, and he collapses on her shoulder and then she nurses him through a fever all night, as he holds her hand? And romantic music plays?

But I don't want to make it stop - I want it to continue and have the writer screw up so badly Ji Hoo/Jandi ends up being the final ship :P Seriously, I have no idea what the writer is doing - I started out being bored by the triangle and being a rabid JP/jandi shipper and now I am so off that ship and onto the Ji Hoo/Jandi one, my head is still spinning...

lol, I totally see the Mars thing especially since they were the same actors from Meteor Garden. I even called Ji Hoo channeling Vic Zhou's Mars character with the motorcycle, hee!

The more we watch the more I feel JD-JP slipping away. I was reading dramabeans today and they haven't had a good scene in 6 episodes!

I really wonder if they'll go with the ship now!

I imagine there will be a fangirl revolt if they don't keep the original ending, but the problem is, at this rate, seeing on various boards and comms how many people jumped ship by now, there will be a fangirl revolt even if they do keep the original ending. Different fangirls though :)

I do not know what's up with the script - Lee Min Ho and GHS had excellent chemistry and I never thought to alternaship until they gave them no scenes together for eps and made JP into a human waffle and Ji Hoo into the best boyfriend choice since Prince Charming. Huh?

also, which boards and comms do you read? I have my own set but I'm always curious what other people read.

maybe, if she stays high for the REST of the drama, we will get a Ji-Hoo/Jandi ending!! how amazing would that be?? whoever her supplier is, hook us up so we can keep him well-supplied! I'd dish out the cash! dirty money for a clean otp, anyday.

this is just an utter mess of an otp from beginning to end.
I HATE kdramas. Even my Vortex of Doom, the Taiwanse Fated to Love You, didn't take the secondary couple this far. Dylan was amazing but at least he didn't do all the things with whatsherface that Ji-Hoo does with Jandi.

Oh yes - please.

I have never seen any drama, Korean, Japanese, Taiwanese or Mainland, go half as far with the alternaitve ship as BOF has. Crazy!

Though I have to admit I was rooting for Dylan ... the other guy was jus an asshole just like JP.

He had his moments but there was enough chemistry to keep me interested and I hated Anna so I only wobbled a little from the canon ship.

I really really hated Anna

Anna was plain stupid. If stupidity hurt, she would have been in agony the whole series. But I don't like the whole bullying guys/inncent girl trope. That's why I didn't continue watching Goong, Devil Beside You etc. Ever since ISWAK (which I fervently watched because of Joe Cheng at that time) these kind of relationships have become my pet peeve.

URGH ISWAK I couldn't finish that series, there was nothing I found redeemable about any of the characters.

But I don't like the whole bullying guys/inncent girl trope

I don't usually like it either but they showed enough of MC's conflicted nice guy moments for me to only dislike him until the inevitable heel turn angst mid season.

First I liked the series but as it continued Ariel's character really grated on my nerves because of her stupidity and then Joe's character got moe and more bullying and abusive. I didn't even start on ISWAK 2 despite the huge make out scene.

Perhaps I'm too old for these teen/twen dramas. I like my OTP to be a bit dim but mature about their feelings, like Mars, Pride or the current ToGetHer.

I don't mind a pushy jerk as a hero if the heroine won't roll over (which is why other versions of Hanadan worked for me or something like Full House or Bali was fine). But here, Jandi is a total wimp so why would I want her with a guy who'd steamroll all over her?

ISWAK was a drama I adored but the more I think about it, the less I like it.

With me too, at first I loved it but the longer it was and there was no progression in the characters, esp. in Joe's character I got fed up with it. Even when he *loves* her, he is still too cruel to her.

of course! that's what I meant! Ji-Hoo is another Dylan, only they've amped up his awesomeness so it's like a BILLION times more depressing how it ends.
