I loved this episode so much! I'm incredibly curious about the archeologist too. Although I'm really hoping they don't kill of Donna :/

Maybe she will just retire and move on with life? Though they are making it seem ominous.

The way River Song spoke, it seems to me she's more than a future companion. Not sure who she could be though. . .

Some have suggested that she is another Time Lord(Lady), but the Doctor would know. The way she spoke suggest that she doesn't always travel with him, but that they do often meet. ? It's confusing.
