Various MVs...

I wanted to watch Super Rookie for a while, ever since Que Sera Sera gave me a thing for Eric Mun. It sounded so funny! And co-starred Han Ga In, who is adorable. So, I went looking for MVs (knowing me, it's not a surprise I was looking for shippy ones) and they are so adorable!

Here is a really cute one:

Hey, I was wondering if you could give me any bollywood movie recs. I have a lot of time on my hands right now and thought that I'd like to try something new. I don't have anyone else on my f-list who watches them so I thought I'd ask you.

Would you mind?

I know this has nothing to do with this post. Sorry if it seems kind of rude.

It's not rude at all!

What kind of movies are you interested in? Romantic? Sad? Funny?

I watched to watch Super Rookie, because of my crush on Eric, but never got around to it. I'm still sad Wolf was stopped after three episodes. Three episodes that you can't even find anymore. :(

Oh, and thanks for linking to my vid. :)

What happened with Wolf?

And your vid is AMAZING. I loved all the intercutting and the way it fits the lyrics.

Wolf was a drama that ran in 2006, for three episodes. It started Eric, Uhm Tae Woong, and Han Ji Min. It ran for three episodes (though, I think one more may have been filmed), before stopping. It's ratings were rather good and its plot was apperently awesome. I think Eric and HJM were to be the OTP, but I'm not sure. Anyway, during the final filming for episode three, Eric and HJM were injured in a car accident on the set. Filming was put on hold.

Then, something happened (I guess contracts ran out) and people went off to other things. Every since, there have been rumors every three or four months about filming starting again. But, it really looks doubtful. The show was meant to air in the summer of '06 and it's already the winter/spring of '08. Besides, I believe Eric is heading into the army. And, HJM and UTW are both getting very busy.

On a plus side: EM and HJM were the OTP in the drama, Invincible Parachute Agent, from the fall of '06. But, I wonder: instead of doing that, why didn't they finish Wolf? Was UTW busy?

Ops: Wolf aired in Jan of '06, not the summer.

I enjoy reading your Bolly stuff, because I have so limited an experience with it. I would like to pick up a few from your rec list, if I can find them.

I think the closest to Bolly I've come is Monsoon Wedding. And I know it's not exactly that.

Oh, and by the way, I know it's not related but it kinda reminded me, I saw a feature on The Namesake the film adapted from Jhumpa Lahiri's novel. I'm wondering if you saw it/read the book, and if it's any good?

Netflix has a lot of the ones listed. There are dl sites and I can ask around (I don't dl bolly movies because they are so cheap).

I saw Namesake. It's a good movie but not my thing.

Hi, I'm here through flist o' flist and I have to say that Super Rookie is my favorite Korean miniseries drama EVER. My whole family actually became obsessed with it when it was being shown on a local LA channel, and then we bought the dvds. It's delightful! Eric Mun is wonderfully expressive-silly-cute. SIGH. I will have to watch Que Sera Sera sometime...
