My Poor Darlings!
I just read spoilers for ep 20 of Hong Gil Dong.
I always forget the Hong Sisters m.o. of luring you in with the funny and then when you are defenceless and really care for those characters, socking you in the gut.
I feel very emo.
Chang Hwe kissing sleeping/ill Yi Nok. (Did I mention that she supposedly whispers GD's name in her sleep?). I don't even feel bad about this because we all know this is the most he is going to get.
OMG! The mad King used to be sane and reform-minded and cool. No wonder Lord Hong wanted to follow him! I suppose the crime of killing his family to get there drove him mad. I think it's a living warning to Chang Hwe to not disregard people this way (see, Madam Noh, Gil Dong knew what he was talking about in ep 17):
Oh God, just looking at the caps made me all incredibly emo and weepy, watching this will be bad. They break up. Different stations in life, family enmity, etc. Clearly not meant to be (better be temporary!!!)
