My Top 10 Jdramas: a pushy, not-too-spoilery post

You know how I did a list for my favorite kdramas, here (even if it already has to be revised, seeing that The Legend is my fave kdrama ever, and actually my fave drama, period). Well, this is my Top 10 jdramas list.

You really do need to get the Gokusen Special watched. Just to make your Shinkumi shipping life complete.

I know! I should probably actually find it this week, seeing that I am going to be in-between dramas.

I feel the "in between" thing. I am...appalling almost dramas-on-hand-less. I have 3 of the Japanese historicals on hand, but I tend to approach those almost 100% from a historical perspective(even when I know they take a lot of liberties) and that's not the kinda investment I feel like ATM(I have to be in exactly the right mood...)

ETA: Would you believe that I almost exactly guessed which CS icons you would take(one exception...)

Basically, I am almost done with 'beautiful days' and I have tons of dramas which are candidates for a big binge, but I want to finish various 'tail ends' of dramas I haven't finished yet (like Hyang Dan) and catch up on currently airing ones I am behind on (1 pound, Robbers).

I love your list :) The only ones I haven't seen are Itoshi Kimi e and Brand. You're right that Brand is underrated. I've never even heard of it. I'll check it out though since it made it to your Top 10 ^^

As to Brand, it really is excellent.

Because I believe that you're a ShinKumi shipper, I have to ask you this: Have you read/watched the 2008 manga special? where the finally kiss?
Gosh... I wish they add that scene in drama version (Gokusen 3)

I love Sapuri, Tatta Hitotsu no Koi, HanaDan and Gokusen (YANKUMI x SHIN!!!!!!!!!!! ♥♥ Those parts are my favorites as too <333 Gokusen may not be the best drama but it's my first jdrama and my ultimate favorite ♥)! :) Actually, I love almost all of the japanese dramas I watched ^_^ *but I didn't like Kurosagi that much, I don't know why :( But I love Yamapi and Horikita Maki, they look so adorable together ♥

I'm planning to watch Itoshi Kimi e (after I finish Yukan Club and Stand Up XD) because I loved Fujiki Naohito in Hotaru no Hikari. Have you watched it? :P All the characters are great :) Fujiki Naohito is funny there and I love Ayase Haruka and Kato Kazuki so much :P

Oh yes. Love them! Gokusen was my second ever jdrama (Hanadan was the first) so it also holds a special place for me.

And eeee re Itoshi Kimi E! I haven't seen HnH yet but it's my next jdrama.

I'm yet to finish sapuri, kurosagi and forbidden love. i might want to continue them after reading this.

kamisama is one of my fav drama, and my very first jdrama that sucked me into the world of more jdramas. and Takeshi is hot!

I love Sapuri, Kurosagi and FL, but there are people of much taste on my flist who didn't care for them. It's whatever works for you (everyone loves Long Vacation but I can't stand it).

Kamisama is SO SO awesome and Takeshi is indeed mind-meltingly hot. I kept wondering who got the job to apply wet sand on him for the credits :)

I humbly believe Long Vacation is overrated. it's a just okay drama, but not a drama I'll go 'greaaat', 'love!' etc. but yeah, this is subjective. :P quoting you "it's whatever works for you". very true.

* oh. I love 1 litre. it's so touching. I think I cried in most of the episodes. you should watch it to see whether u'll like it or not.
