Grrrr....the heroine is giving me hives
I am on ep 2 and it's official.
I hate Hebe's character. She is spoiled, selfish, thoughtless and completely obnoxious. To everyone.
Ugh.
I am seriously wishing for Mike He and Lee Wei to run off with each other instead.
If she is supposed to come across as cutely funny, it ain't working. I just want to spork her until she goes away. I feel horrible that with all his antisocialness, Mike He seems to be against hitting women back. Because...

Seriously, in RL I'd hate her, and on screen she isn't much better either.
Currently, she is bucking for my least favorite drama heroine ever, which is a huge pity as I adore both main male characters.
I only find her tolerable in her scenes with Mike, because not only is there awesome chemistry (is there a leading lady with whom he doesn't have chemistry, seriously?) but he is the only one who is not afraid of her, or impressed by her status, or thinks she walks on water. And he is the only one she loses her smugness with sometimes. On rare occasion.
I want to stab her. Seriously.

ETA: TPTB, you did something wrong with writing and casting, if when she is surrounded by bloodthirsty school gang who are pissed off at her, I can not only totally see where they are coming from, but am actually rooting for them to beat her to a pulp.
ETA 2: Now the little bitch caused Mob Enforcer Guy to be horribly whipped. Seriously, can she move away to US or something and we get a new heroine in the next ep? PLEASE.
You guys, you know my extremely low standards for heroines. I'll be OK with almost anyone. She managed to break even those low standards. She is the first drama heroine I actually loathe.
ETA 3: great, we now have flashback to child abuse. I am glad to see that getting Mob Enforcer Guy beaten for Heroine's horrible wilfull actions seems to be a long-standing tradition. Seriously, I don't ship them anymore. I like him much too much for such a horror of a SO. Pity is, I like Mike He's character much too much for be OK with him being afflicted with the Heroine, too.
ETA 4: Frelling Bitch. I am seriously one step short of trying to climb into the monitor. (What particular scene brought this on? The one with her calling up Mob Enforcer Guy. If you saw it, you'd know which one I mean).
ETA 5: Mike He, whyyyyyyyyyyyyyy? Why do you want to go rescue her? She's been horrible to you since the moment you met, she doesn't know how to apologize when she should, and she is the one who got herself involved. if people keep rescuing her, she will never learn. The only explanation is you got hit in the head severely some time recently. WTF?
ETA 6: I don't even hate her any more. I've hated her for so long that I think I burned out and subsided into a dull state of disbelief that someone that horrendous is allowed to roam free, instead.
ETA 7: it's a miracle. I don't hate her anymore, but the end of ep 3. Mind, I still don't like her one way or another, but at least she stopped giving me ulcers.
ETA 8: BF, it's not cool to steal one of the most famous scenes from Meteor Garden almost shot for shot. It was much cooler when Ah Si was letting the gang beat him into unconsciousness to protect Shan Cai. Sorry.
