Mr. Mousie and I want to make our next big trip be Thailand (since our plans to go there past November fell through).

So...oh flist! Is March a good month? Would February or April be better? We aren't really looking for beach time, more like city goggling and ruins checking out...

I am considering a tour like this or like this though I really don ( Read more... )

Heeee, I am all for going with a group of friends. Though I think Mr. Mousie might be overwhelmed with being the only guy around :P

yes, but that can be overwhelming in a good way. he needs to think of it as his harem. :)

i have nothing to offer regarding thailand, other than it and 100 other places are on my "to visit" list.

Okay, I want your life. But I hope you have fun in Thailand! ;p

Oh, and are you around during the holidays? I'm home from the 22th through the 30th, and we should meet up at some point!

Actually I am out until 30th (we are off to Tahiti with spouse's family).

When are you going to be in town after that?

Wow. Very nice. When are you leaving, then?

I'm not really sure when I'll be around after that... But I will certainly keep you updated.

How awesome, I would love to visit Thailand. OMG you HAVE to try this insanely yummy freeze dried fruit called durian. I have a pic of it if you're interested. My friend recently bought it for me as gift from Thailand and it was so yummy I am craving for more :D

In terms of months, I think Thailand is a tropical country with good weather all year round. So shouldn't make too much of a difference which month you go to. Try the spa in Thailand. It's supposed to be fantastic (and cheap!).

I envy you your eastern travels. I was in Phuket in December of 00. I *loved* it so much. I got a room where I could just walk out to the beach. It was SO fantastic.

So far I've been able to get my husband to Canada. I'm working on Scotland for next year. :-)
