Sapuri gush

Dec 01, 2007 19:53

I have just finished the sixth episode of Sapuri and it is official:

I am utterly, helplessly in love.

This is, now, my second favorite jdrama ever, after Pride (I think it would take an act of God to displace Pride from the top of the list) and somewhere in my Top 5 dramas overall.

This is amazingI am in love with all the 'secondary' characters ( Read more... )

LOL, that icon is awesome.

Oh, I think Hiroto is my favorite of Kame's characters, too, but Yuya is...how shall I put it, he is just a healthier, happier person so someone more fun for real life, if it makes any sense...

He does. Hiroto seems a decade older, as Yaya is such a kid! (But grown-up when it's needed). So funny and adorable and...eeee! I get sort of incoherent.

Of course, Yuya comes from a different background. As far as I can tell, Yuya had a nice normal family, not Hiroto's horrid nightmare.

I think that is why, despite his supposed inferiority, he was able to open about his feelings to Minami. He had a sense of self-worth and it had been beaten out of Hiroto by the time he's met Nao.

Oh, now I want to rewatch Tattakoi.

Oh yes, we should totally do a rewatch. That way we can drown in cross-meta :) When do you want to do it?

Yes, it's not that Yuya is young for his age, it's just that Hiroto had to age way beyond his. Ohhhhh, the poor guy. Because I remember seeing his cynicism in the first few eps and the hard attitude and thinking that it wasn't real, it was just such a put-on shell to protect himself from the world because he couldn't afford to hope.

I wonder how Kame would be if he was cast as someone genuinely nasty. I can't see it at all, actually, because he seems to have such a nice huy vibe in everythig I've seen. I can see MatsuJun play a total psycho, I could even see Yamapi do a bad guy but I can't really see Kame somehow. No idea why.

Sounds cool! (Re: Tattakoi).

a.k.a Evil-Sama, TM

ROFL.

I have to say, I am so impressed with MatsuJun because he is completely different in every role I've seen him in.

his Domyouji is SO different from Dao Ming Si, and yet, so similar, you know?

Definitely.

At one point I was watching Hanadan and Kimi Wa Petto sort of simulatenously and it was crazy because Momo and Domyouji had nothing in common whatsoever.

It's funny, because I think Yamapi is very good-looking by any standard, and Kame is too, in an elegant and rather feminine way (very shujo manga, actually). But I don't think MatsuJun is good-looking at all, he just makes you not care.

Well said! I had a rather visceral reaction to MatsuJun when I first saw his photo in the HYD casting posts on d-addicts, but after a while, I grew to love him. In his own, Evil-Sama way, of course! :)

Yup, I remember reading casting stuff and fangirls were all over MatsuJun being Domyouji because of Gokusen and I started Hanadan1 and went that hideous troll is Domyouji????? Seriously. And I put it aside for months. And then I went back and somehow ended in mad love with his Domyouji.
