Sensual Phrase

Heh. Apparently Sensual Phrase (manga) has been made into an anime, totally PG-rated, where all the clothes stay on! (As opposed to the manga, where, sweet love story or not, I spent half the time going 'is this depicting what I think it is?')

Heh. Aine and Sakuya are totally child-friendly now. Heeeeee. You have no idea how it amuses me.

I might check out just the Aine and Sakuya bits anyway (I know the anime is more about the band which is not something that interests me), for sheer amusingness factor.

I am assuming little things like drug addiction, Sakuya being a former child whore, sex in all the positions prescribed by the Kama Sutra, and Aine's rape by evil what-s-his-name are not going to be included.

For those who are wondering, SP is a manga with no redeeming social value that I totally adore, where our winsome heroine, Aine, ends up being a lyricist to an edgy popular band, Lucifer, and ends up in a torrid, angsty, very shoujo and very explicit relationship with its lead singer, Sakuya.

Mmmm....I'd say it's a guilty pleasure except I refuse to feel guilt.
