This Weekend's Experiment......Success!
I was going to post, but there's no need to say anything about AWA, everyone and their mother's uncle has/will post about it. Ilpalazzo was a resounding success, and it can only get better. I think we're a go for Voltron, now, it all falls on my head to get 5 helmets custom fit and built. I have a year.
I think I'm giong to bite the bullet and get WOW. I know about 3 people that aren't on it, so I'm going to conform to society and do what other people like myself do. There's not much of a life here for sale, but what I got, someone else can have....
must...not...succumb...to....wow.......damn.
As for what I will say about this past weekend, I really enjoyed seeing everyone again. I hope this year won't be like the previous year and no one I know from just the con will keep in touch. Of course, I can do my part. But, in this day and age of unlimited calling, email, video confrencing, hell, livejournal, no one on this Earth is more than a few keystrokes away. Be numbers or letters, we can let each other know we're thinking about them.
As for me, I know i don't post often. And my postings will probably be fewer, since lj is blocked at work.
But to everyone I saw at the con, HI!
To everyone I forgot to say bye to, BYE!
To everyone else, see above. You were all missed.
As for me, I think I'm going to sod off for a bit. Things have been gradually slumping off, since other parts of my life have picked up. I don't know. Knowing me, I say this, and in two days I'll call everyone I know. Just to hear a friendly voice.
I miss everyone terribly.
