The trouble with tribbles is, is that where there’s one, there’s many.
Such is the case with my new computer, obviously full of furry little buzzy-balls. You all have either heard or read about my jubilation at purchasing a new computer. What some of you haven’t heard is the trials and “tribulations” about it.
First off, everything came in early. Fan-tab-u-lous.
Start construction of the wee beastie Tuesday night.
No-go for launch. Windows doesn’t just refuse to install, windows prances about babbling some nonsense about how it’s going to kick Linux square in the jimmy, providing it can find the root code to do just that.
Try around…oh, 29 different combinations of alternate hardware, and deduce that “The Motherboard is Bad!”
So, off to Mwave it goes. Replacement comes in. Works great.
And so they ate Robin’s minstrels. Yaaaa….
Install Video Card.
See description of Windows installation above.
So, here it is today, nearly two weeks after I order the thing, all the parts have come in, most twice, and I still don’t have a computer that can handle most games. Or Photoshop.
Woo-hoo, ain’t technology grand!
