“You have beautiful place here.” Emmett declares as walks back into the living room.
“It’s not my place,” he explains. “I’m the one who hired to find some one to rent the place.”
“Oh.”
“The owner loves this place too, but he is gone so much that he is hardly ever here. And well, is looking for the right person to take care the place for him." Then he adds, "I think you guys will work out well as roommates. You two have a lot in common.”
“I see.”
“So, are interested?
“You or the house?”
“Both.”
“Yes, then. I will take both.”
“Well, I will draw up the papers for you.”
“When will I get to meet the owner. Who is he?”
“That would be me.”
Emmett looks over at the stairs to find a familiar face. “Zach?”
