i am sitting here right now on rue des reinnes at a cyber café. it is very bright and pleasent, and i am possibly the only american here right now. i like that, pretending i'm not american. they treat you better and don't hit on you like crazy. which happens quite a lot when you're with like five girls...old men stare at you on the metro. note to self: never wear short skirts at night.
everyone here goes to private school it seems like. bastards. oh and lizzie olsen is here, mary kate and ashley olsen's sister. i let her borrow some tampons a couple days ago, how cool am i? haha. not that cool. my roomate's a badass though. she's from nyc and lives on 5th avenue. her mom was the founder of ivillage and they're uber rich, but nice. i was supposed to go out to dinner with them last night to this restaurant that had 5 dollar signs next to it in the tour book i have, but i had to go see a play with my l'avant garde class-which was fun anyway. i've been to a zillion museums, seen versailles, giverny (monet's last house and gardens where he painted the waterlillies) yves saint laurant exhibit, picasso collection, photo journalism exhibit, rodin sculptures (the thinker) and lots of other stuff!! and i think we're going to the catacombs tomorrow.
i hope everyone's summer is going well and that scholars isnt too hard. my mom sent me the list of all the stuff i have to make up on it when i get home, and it seems like so much!! gah. i'm gunna die. but not today!!!
