I don't care how much its defenders are saying that some Japanese humour doesn't translate, Lucky Star (episode 1) was HORRIBLE. Except for the Lucky Channel spoof thing at the end. Otherwise, incredibly unfunny.
But I'm willing to give it benefit of doubt considering how so many people gave it good ratings, and that my judgement was somehow akin to those who thought Haruhi episode 1 sucked. Fine, one more episode then.
On a related note, BitComet had added P2SP support (a feature I noticed available in most Chinese torrent clients), so sometimes I could get a good 20-30 kBps peer from a HTTP/FTP source (when there is one). Those of you still on other bittorrent clients might want to give the new version a go.
