ok wow some people are really confused. all these kids are bashin straightedge and the best part is that they have no idea wat they are talking about. they sit there and listen to unearth and norma jean and say "this is straightedge music!!" which is ridiculous. though unearth is a dang good band. and then they say that we stand for positive living but our music promotes . THATS CUZ YOUR LISTENING TO UNEARTH AND ATREYU!!! to me, straightedge means poison-free, respectful, positive living. i have really changed in the past year or so. i used to be all sad and full of myself and some of it was medical cuz i suffer from clinical depression but a lot of it was just crap. ive gotten into things that i really had no business gettin into but i was young and foolish. my parents and friends and i all think i have matured since then and i feel so much better with where i am in life. im starting to meet new people sort of. i still wish i had more friends in the scene but im so dadgum shy...!! so if anybody wants to talk to me feel free. haha yea right. anyway, if anyone doesnt understand straightedge and wants to, just call me and ill explain cuz its way too much to type and it means so much that i cant really put on a computer screen.
