I wrote a song about you; it goes like this:
Life keeps getting sadder.
We get trapped in this sinkhole occasionally because everything about work and friends and general ephemeral reality can get dim. It can feel as every time there is news, it is bad news. We push through, as we always do.
But no matter what, and sometimes because of this fact; we are yet tied to the simple tethers cast between us; the ropes that would not release.
I wrote a song about you; it goes like this:
Life moves ever upward.
Even when carrying some dark, overwhelming burden; we find the proper places to cast it off or the cherished partners to share the weight. We connect and we radiate with warmth only natural for those not meant to be alone.
But no matter what; we are yet tied to the complex net of the pains and passion; the pride and presumption; the pull and push of one another.
I wrote a song about you; it goes like this:
Life is indeterminate from one minute to the next.
All our titles and anthems and lyrical offerings should be bound together into the very way these mused lives continue. Because we always continue. We choose a sullen, ponderous, quiet reflection or a brash, defiant, resonant display-
-and with that we carry forth each day.
