Who knew?
In other news. I spent all day being productive. Granted, I only got about half of my homework done. But you know what I did instead this afternoon?
I cleaned out my closet and my dresser, cleaned out my desk and bookshelf, threw things away, separated clothes and shoes into "keep" and "donate" piles, (of which the former was larger, but not by a large amount, which is definitely a change) and boxed and packed and sorted my belongings.
It's getting easier to accept the changes happening in life, and a small step in doing so is parting with things which hold sentimental value but in reality just create clutter in my personal space.
I'm excited to become less material. Not that I'm a super material person. But I'd like to be more like my mum, who has only what necessity demands in terms of material possessions and yet so much in her mind and spirit.
And now, inspired by our dear
elusis, I'm going to make pancakes for dinner. With raspberries. And bananas.
(If this whole physical therapy thing doesn't work out, I'm totally opening a pancake cafe. You name it, I'll put it in a stack of pancakes for you. Except for something gross like tires, or herpes. I'll leave that for IHOP.)
