Summer Lovin'
I know, I know, still raving about the summer :) Thing is, its almost freakishly hot for Scotland and we're all going a bit crazy from it! Just the other day I was wearing a skirt with, shock horror, no TIGHTS!! he he he - got to show off me ray gun for once.
Fergie was away this weekend so my weekend consisted of, Sponsored skate (managed to do 11 miles - 315 laps approx in 1 hour 45 mins!) it was hard going but super worth it! Then on Saturday I went into town with Gill and went to 'Sunday's' for a late breakfast of coffee and chocolate cake - Naughty! Then we dotted about the shops, without spending a penny! Then home to the longest shower ever before prawn chow mein and onto the pub! I won at doubles a couple of times with some amazingly flukey shots. We then all went on the kareoke....I had a pretty sore head/throat the next day!
We had a photo opp near Aurther's Seat. An auction house in Edinburgh asked if we would pose with some broadswords and other 18th century weaponary! It was amazing fun, even though we were needed for all of 5 mins! Still wasn't a wasted day for me as I went up Arthers seat with Gordon and Anda. Anda is lovely and so sweet! He met her in Poland and she's from Latvia.
Anyway, we went to visit Gordons Gramps after that and he was talking about when he was a boy and all the mines around Broxburn. It reminded me that I should go to the mining museum near Broxburn as I missed out of that by not living there during primary school :) Ferg said he'd take me.
It was great to be able to 'miss' him though. I think it proves how much we've come along since the depression and how much more I appreciate him. I love him completely now and there are no doubts in my head what so ever that he is the man I want in my life for as far as I can see. I'm totally putting myself out there and if it ever fails I'll have no regrets because I know I loved with everything! Wow - that came from nowhere!
Anyhoo, we're all geared up for London and with this week being the last full weeke before we go....well lets just say 'tough' doesn't cover it!
