Well, I do hope that at least she's writing to you while she's in Italy. Has she gotten herself a journal yet? I heard it's quite nice over there in Italy this time of the year, though unlike here, where it always seems to rain.

Not if she has a journal, Dai! I'm surprised she hasn't picked one up yet, for that matter, especially with her going on this trip and all. It would save on postage, for one, and she could pretty much talk to you right quick.

But, if she is relying on post, then I suppose it would take a few days before her letters from Italy would reach your home.
