Rage... building... slowly.

In the Round = When all is said and done = On balance = I surmise.

But its used passively. When a reasonable person looks at it who isn't me, its some other reasonable person, they will see this. Its a horrible bit of rhetoric that I am starting to have the rage against.

So it starts.

Progressive, is also getting to me. Everyone claims to be progressive, and I think they generally mean it to be closing the rich poor gap though policy. It seems labour would claim to be more progressive. And be proud of that. But recent history of 13 years in power shows they are rubbish at being progressive. Progressive seems to be used as we are going forwards with great for everyone.

Fairness. More fair. Less fair. Mr Rooney claimed a way back that things were either fair or they were not. Everyone thinks what they think is fair is fair. If you get lucky and have a lot of money, that its fair that you keep it. Taking it from you is unfair. Unless I guess you think the whole concept of money is unfair, in which case no distribution of money is ever going to be fair. Fairness is not doing the best thing. I'm fed up of fairness.

And what got my rage going... Real terms of money. Being abjectly NOT real. A 30% drop in Real terms over 5 years is surely very simalar to a freeze. As in an actual rise/fall of 0%. Even if you do consider "Real terms" to be very important, how can anyone be accuratley estiamting inflation over the next 5 years, since... well they don't seem to be able to get it right quarter to quarter... gah... rage.

I think its mainly rage at the fact tax payer (and licence payer) money is being spent on the BBC to encourage them to turn out this drivel. In fact to hype this drivel.
