Highlights from "spring break"-
Organized my whole room and didn't leave anything there that I want to keep.
Managed to sell enough stuff to buy me and Steve a new exercise bike.
Inherited 3/4 of a bottle of Bombay Saphire from Hailley.
The rest was very stressful and a waste of a vacation, especially seeing how badly steve and I needed a break after everything that we deal with day to day and what we've been dealing with for the last couple of months. But family is family and sometimes you do what you gotta do.
Hailley left for Europe this week and I had a nice dinner with her and mom in Chinatown in Boston before she left. We've alredy got one email from her. It sounds like she is working very hard but is enjoying life on the dairy farm during calving season :-) I am now officially my mom's only family within 3000miles... wish me luck :-p
School is moving along slowly but surely. I am still hoping to be finished with the bulk of my lab work by mid summer? Cross your fingers. I applied for a 3 week job in July teaching science/marine bio 1.5hrs per day to kids at Woods Hole. We'll see if I get it, but it pays really well for the amount of work it seems to be. Heather started a 20hr per week part time job and I was wracking my brain trying to figure out how the hell she has time for that seeing has we have generally the same school committments but I can't fathom being able to do that... when I realized, hello 3 hr per day CF regimine! I already have a part time job :-p lol. yay breathing.
In other news, Steve just MADE me the most delicious Orange Julius I've ever had. If you had any doubts about how crazy about him I am, let me put those to rest.
