Hospital Update 2
Still here. Its been 2 weeks and a lot of stuff is getting better (stamina is better, I'm on the verge of not needing any extra oxygen, even when exercising, docs say the lungs sound better, etc), but one particular measurement of lung function that looks at how blocked the small airways are is not improving as much as we'd like. We're switcing one of my IV meds back to a med that I used last year which helped quite a bit, so hopefully it will do the same this time. Unfortunately it means I'll be spending some more time here at the Chateau de MGH.
Steve's parents came to visit me on Sunday, which was really sweet, then my mom moved up to her apt in RI on monday and came up to visit me tuesday afternoon and stayed 'til wednesday afternoon. It was really good to see her :-) I'm glad that she will be able to visit me on some of the days when Steve can't... but hopefully I'll just be able to GO HOME soon!
