the most depressing thing i've witnessed in a long time
I was out driving yesterday afternoon on my way to the gym. When I stopped at a red light, I noticed the gas station across the street had the regular unleaded fuel listed at 2.89 a gallon. "boy that's high," I thought. "But it could be worse."
And then, literally before my eyes, it got worse.
The digital display changed from 2.89 to 2.91. I was witness to the price of gas going up 2 cents for, as far as I could tell, no good reason at all.
I was not prepared for that at all.
