The Government Can Kiss My Ass

So the FBI job is a moot point.  I don't have three years of experience.  Of course the special agent didn't clairfy what kind of experience was necessary but then again she couldn't  even explain to me what they mean by diversity section.  She was too busy trying to rush me off the phone.   I was able to ask her if I got a job within the bureau and eventually make my way into the Special Agent ranks.  She told me they don't recruit from within.

Crock of shit.  They do it all the time.  Go look at the USAJobs website and you'll see that they often times only open up primo positions for "Status Candidates" which basically within the department already.

She said I could always be a clerk typist.

A clerk typist.  Bitch, I'm a supervisor.  Why the hell would I give that up to be a piddly ass clerk typist?

So you know what Special Agent Wendy Osborne - YOU don't have enough experience to be a recruiter and you know what?  Kiss my ass.

So I've stepped back.  I don't really know what I want.  Do I want to get another job or do I muddle through the grad school process?  Its hard.  I really miss being in a classroom and being able to have debates on topics that I feel passionate about.  But I have yet to figure out which programs I want to apply to.  There are so many out there and it becomes overwhelming.  This is one of the reasons why I didn't even bother with grad school right away.  I am still not 100% sure what I want to study.  I know its Museum Education, but do I want to work with American history?  World History?  specific cultural history? General History?  That is the kind of question I will have to be able to answer and I'm not really sure which area I want to deal with the most.

So many questions and not enough good answers.  Hmm.

fbi, grad school, work
