Definately in a restless spring mood. The roomies and I are planning a major spring cleaning in a few weeks. Down to some touch up painting. Dria said her room needed it, I need it in my room, and the living room could use a spruce up. I am thinking of even by passing the white walls and getting a nice color for my room. Being in a spring mood, I'm thinking light browns, blues, or even a sherbert orange or darker yellow. I'm going to be here for another year or so, so I guess its time to get a semi-permenate feeling. I think having a spring cleaning weekend will really freshen up the apartment and get us out of the winter funk. I can't wait. :) I've got a lot of ideas I want to do for this room, and I just want to see them come to fruition.
Looking to cut my hair again. Nothing radically short, but cutting my hair into a bob. I love being able to pull my hair back into a pony tail and heading out the door or just getting my hair out of my face. But I am tired of feeling the split ends and the wacked difference in lengths (although there are women that pay out the ass for this choppy look). Its something I've been sleeping on for a week, but I think I might have to hem and haw a little more on it.
Today is my cousin Robert's birthday. The runt is 7 years old. Called him- he isn't much for the phone, but Karen said he had a good birthday and that he liked the gifts I got him (Joe Dirt on DVD, some Legos and a Hot Wheels car). Said he got money from the grandparents and some other things, but he couldn't remember. Told him I was sorry I couldn't be home for his birthday, but I just have too much to do. I don't think he cared one way or the other. :D
I think I've offically lost it. Tomorrow I'm playing right hand man to Chris (she's the educational programs director at Minnetrista). There is a giant field day (I mean giant as in 500 kids giant) that I've been asked to help with. I'll be rounding kids up, proving answers to any questions, and serving lunch. I'll be running from 8:30 til about 2:30p and surrounded by hundreds of children. Then I get to do night audit for work (which will be 11p til around 1 or 2a). I don't mind the night audit since its the $6/hr shift. But the kids are gonna kill me.
Shower time. I'm feeling the need for a warm shower to relax my back. Its knotted up from hunching over my sewing for like 4 hours. I need better posture.
