Today is a lazy Sunday. It was sunny and scorching outside, but now it's raining with lightning and thunder. Quite cosy, actually. :) It's still 30 degrees C, so I'm feeling pretty hot

I didn't get one either. But IF we are both invited, you could be my date! It would be nice to be in a foreign country with someone who also speaks English well that also isn't related to the bride and groom by blood. :) I would hate to show up and be the weird anti-social American in the corner who doesn't know what to do, say, or how to act around Danes and Romanians.
You are both invited. The invitations will be sent out when we return from my sisters wedding in Denmark this week.
You two, plus a Norwegian girl, are the only non-blood-related guests invited. Well, not all others are blood, but they are either romanian or danish. :) There will probably be 100-120 guests, so you will not be very much in focus, if you are afraid of that. :) We'd both love to have you there, though. And the invitations for both of you is for you+1, so you don't need to come alone.
If I can swing it, I'd love to be there. Time will tell :D
100-120 guests? OY! I know by world standards that a big wedding, but that'll feel small to me! hahahahha I'm from a small town with lots of BCFs (Big Catholic Families - I know several people with more than 10 kids) and weddings get to be huge.
At the weddings of my three brothers, they each invited about 400 people, and that's because that's the most they could hold in the parish activity center. I have about 70 cousins alone. Well, more actually, I've lost count.
100-120. I feel REALLY special. Truly, I'm touched. :)
BTW, last night I was just going through some postcards I've received over the years. Some awesome ones from you in there! :D Candy wrappers too.
That sounds groovy! I'm gonna think about it seriously and try to swing it. We'll have to bug Dan about where we can stay though. And if I am going to be going to Romania I will probably go to Holland and Belgium too.
Ohh, that sounds awesome! There was a possibility of a Japan trip in October, but those plans seem to be fading quickly. So a September Euro trip could work out quite well :) If I'm going to Romania, I think I'd like to make it to some surrounding countries while I'm at it! For the length of the flight, might as well spend some time.
How many people are invited? Marie is talking about coming. How many non-European guests will you have? ;) At least if she were there, I'd have someone to talk to! hahaha I've googled Buzau - it looks like it could be an excellent time for a foreigner!
