Saw The Ladykillers today and do you know what? It wasn't that bad. Poor reviews pretty much all round, but I actually quite liked it. Tom Hanks made me laugh with anything he said, and he hasn't been able to do that since Big. Not always a huge Coen Bros fan, I hated Intolerable Cruelty (the irony) with a passion and struggled with Big Lewbowski (loved Julianne Moore though). This film gets a thumbs up....yes I did say thumbs up (I'm such a douche bag.)
Morrissey's a funny one. I was watching his new video for his new song and it's all of live footage. People worship that guy! He was a voice of a generation. Sadly, I was about ten when the Smiths were at their peek, so missed that boat. Got into them much later when I was a student (of course!). He makes me smile, some of the lyrics he writes these days reek of desperation, but the tunes are fun and I enjoy his music very much still. Bless Mozzer.
