SYTYCD Returns
So, I had this weird dream that one of the choreographers on SYTYCD decided it would be a great idea to make a Twilight-inspired dance on this show. Set to Mastodon or something. Buh. Because that's just what we would need, Edward and Bella angst-dragging and throwing each other around the stage.
Watching a pair of vampires hip hop around the stage live right now, I'm glad this horror was only half realised. And quite well done! The cheerleader cracks me up, though, she's so... incapable of hiding her emotions -- and go the partner from Dubbo!
I might actually vote this year (first time to ever vote in a reality tv show, hahaha). I'm supposed to vote for the boy from Canberra (REPRESENT!), but the directors of this show are just not framing these performers well enough.
One of the things that really annoys me about the female dancers is ALL THE HAIR IN THE FACE. Just tie back your g'dang hair, PLZ, show the face behind the mop. It's the same with all the girls at my studio and the hair grows so lo-oo-oo-ng, but that's mostly when they're strutting because when it's time to concentrate most people tie it back. Gyahahaha....!
