Excel Nerd!

Last night I put all my homework and exams for school into an Excel schedule, because I am a big Excel Nerd!

I put in all the due dates and what was due.
I figured out which number week each of these assignments fell on.
Then, I figured out what I should work on each week.

This is week 2. I have two chapters to read in Accounting 130: Financial Accounting. I have a test next Friday in that class. Which means I have to try to take it over the weekend while I'll be away...hmmm...

Then there's the Business 101 class, which is a DVD/Video class. I figured out how that worked last night. I went and rented the video mere moments before the lab at the school closed. Then I went to lorriet's to pick up a book that joelzero had left there. We chatted for a while, but I was good and left by 8:15 so I could get some work in. I watched the video. We are supposed to do a journal on the videos and the readings, and relate what we learn to our lives. After watching the video, I just wasn't super inspired to write. During it, I was, at certain points, but I waited until it was over and didn't take any notes. Oh well, I will have to watch it again.

I have to return the video by Friday. LorrieT has graciously agreed to help me out with that so I don't have to drive down to Santa Maria on Friday, when I have rehearsal for Rocky that night. And if I tried to return it tomorrow, things could go horribly wrong with my schedule. Tonight I have to watch the video so the info soaks in, plus I want to do chapter 2. So, having LorrieT do it, since she now works in Grover Beach, will be the best. Thank you, LorrieT!

Now I just have to follow my schedule. I got toner for the printer, so I can finally print stuff at home, so that fucking ROCKS! It's been many moons since I was actually able to print at home. And it's a color printer!

Last night I had to study in the living room. I wore earplugs and concentrated on my breathing so I wouldn't be distracted by the conversations of the housemates. That was a good plan. I hope to start as soon as I get home tonight and work until I've gotten as much done as possible. Sure, I'll have some kind of food, but as long as it's something just to make my stomach not growl I'll be happy. Although I'd like to avoid cheese, since I have been doing terribly on my diet this week.

No more cake, alcohol, or cheese when at home. That will be my battle cry. I WILL accomplish my goal!

Okay, so now I need to get some stuff done.
