Hello tube-mates.
I still have no iPhone. I didn't really plan what I was going to do, but I ended up leaving work early (~3pm) and drove out to the Roseville AT&T store. I wanted to get it from there so I could apply my 15% UofM discount to my plan right away. They still had 16GB ones, but only in white, and I really want black. So I drove to the apple store (figuring I can just apply the discount later). No 16s there at all.
I called Josh to find out if he was having any luck, and apparently his (old) phone was dead -- a fact I would later find out probably prevented me from getting a phone that day. Turns out he had driven to the MOA and was in line there, and eventually got a black 16GB iPhone. Had I been able to talk to him, I probably could have made it down there before he made it through the line. Bollox.
Anyway, I ended up meeting up with ande2713 who was also considering the purchase back at the AT&T store where we played with them for a little while. I ended up placing an order, which the AT&T guy said would get filled before they restocked, and should be here in 2-5 business days. Today is day 4.
Plus if I don't get it today, I'll have to wait the whole weekend because:
I'm leaving town tonight and won't be back until Monday. Original plan was supposed to be me and susina driving down to Milwaukee. Unfortunately our work schedules don't seem to line up well. This is really one of the few weekends I'm going to be able to go, and she can't make it. But fear not, I will still have company in the form of my former acquaintance, now friend Elisa. Milwaukeeans be warned, you may be called upon.
Elisa and I have been spending a fair amount of time together recently, mostly I think because we have compatible schedules and interests. It has, however, lead almost everyone we know to assume we're dating, though that's not the case. The other part of that story is we're both recently out of relationships, and I think this is helping us cope better with that.
Not sure what else I have to say. So, I'll be done.
