(no subject)
I've been fairly busy lately. I installed the ceiling fan in the kitchen on Saturday and then went to an event for saveadog.org as I am looking to get a dog. I spent time with a few of their dogs and they have several really nice ones but the one I decided to apply for was Zoey. Tank and Benson were very nice but overly energetic and I don't think I would be great for them. Zoey is not a lazy dog either but she wasn't as energetic as those two, and she tired easier. She is young though so I will need to arrange to have her taken care of while I'm at work if I get her.
I was told that I should be contacted on Sunday if I'm chosen. I was not contacted so I was kind of bummed, but they wrote me an email yesterday asking for more information. They told me that I am second in line (I guess someone put in an application before me) and that the other person was going to meet Zoey this afternoon. If they do not take her, it's my turn and I definitely will. They should be calling me today they said.
I also put in another application for a Lab/Shepherd mix named Prince from another place. I put this in before they got back to me about Zoey. I've been in touch with them and they seem to like where I'm coming from. He's 1.5-2 years old, they say, and he seems pretty energetic from the pictures. I have not met him. If I have to choose between them, Zoey will probably be the one, but I might get both of them. I've wanted 2 dogs for a while - besides me just liking dogs, they will also be able to keep each other company when I'm gone.
