So I wasted a good 4 hours today... like wasted worse than usual. I was changing my sister's springs on her T/A. I was unscrewing the nut at the top of one of her shocks and had an allen wrench on the end (it had an insert for one) to keep the shaft from spinning and the top of the shaft (which had an insert for said allen wrench) just split open because it was so rusty. So I had to just put it all back without replacing the spring. And shocks on our cars involve moving the brake master cylinder, disconnecting the upper ball joint, taking off the upper control arm and removing the sway bar so it was overall a wasted 4 hours or so. I am upset about this.
