Disclaimer: I own nothing.
Summary: Parker knows who to call for help.
This was bad. Worse than any other situation she’d ever been in before. It might have been rash for Parker to take on this job alone, but it was the right thing to do. She had to protect Archie and his family, because that’s what she did know. The good guys didn’t back out from helping someone, even if that job included going up against a STERANKO security system.
The job started out easy enough. She came in during the early morning hours to avoid the majority of foot traffic, but not so early that an occasional door opening wouldn’t alert anyone to trouble. Once she got to the Biotech level things got complicated. The code didn’t get her past the retinal scanner, which set off an alarm to security to send guards to search for the problem.
Running from the guards and the computer security system would only be an option for so long. Parker was going to have to do something completely foreign to her. She was going to have to ask someone to help her get out of the building and fast.
Parker didn’t even need to think about who she should call. Hardison would come and help her whenever she asked even when she didn’t show him trust ahead of time by letting him know what she was planning to do.
She may not be the best at dealing with other people, but Hardison was different and it made sense that he was the first on her speed dial and the number she dialed as soon as she found a phone.
“Hardison listen. I screwed up…”
A/N- So I figured since I started posting stuff on my ff.net I should post them here too. Lots of love to Cor who has encouraged me through the process of starting to write :)
