A quick run through of the last few days of my life, which just happened to be some of the funnest...
Thursday: I went to the mall with JT and we had a little chat time/Spanish hw party before we went to set up chairs at school. Of course we saw 10,275,638.6 people from school at the mall when we were there together. That just WOULD happen.
Lauren, Meghan, JT and I stayed at school until 10.30 setting up band chairs... and playing in the band room! SO not approved! It was dark, the practice rooms were open, etc. But seriously, people... the fine arts prefect, the vice president of the debate team, an NHS leader, and the most innocent person in the world... not too much to worry about there!
Friday: Lovely g-parents day. Lord, let there come a day when I can finally play Moonlight Serenade right!!! We did pretty well anyways. So, how about that 6th grade band being as good as us? The colorguard makes me cry! Glorious!
After school, which was pointless, lunching happened with JT, Meghan, and Rachel. But of course, JT ditched me so he could write debate speeches. So I went to the beach with Bryan and Charlie. Most random thing I've done yet, but I'm so glad I did! So fun! Somethimes I even think that I'm getting some practice for being a mom! Callie came later too, which is good! We had some intense chicken fighting (I think I squished Bryan), castle building, hole digging, and such. Driving around was half the fun. Charlie and I were jamming to Spice Girls, so the people in the car in the next lane decided to pull up next to us and laugh. Bryan and Callie are apparently too cool for Spice Girls. I had my first Cici's Pizza experience. Charlie somehow convinced my to eat more brownies than any person should ever eat at one time... ever! Blehh... let's not talk about that! Then we watched Sweeny Todd at Callie's house (I thought it was weird, cute, disturbing, and way cool, all at once) and played rock band. In one day, I met both of Charlie's parents, his grandparents, Bryan's brother (T ferg?), and Bryan's mom. Of the latter, all I have to say is that apples have the tendancy to fall a very short way from their trees. It's funny, what you learn about people in so little time. I like them.
Saturday (hey, that's today!): Solo & Ensemble. Lovely. I was a little nervous for my solo, but I got a superior anyways. WOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!! I think I'll do even better at STATES! Now, I wasn't nervous at all about the trio. But we only got an excellent. Boooooo. Playing that song makes me feel as if I've just run a mile or two!
Of course I had to go to work right after. It was all the usual... Jeremy being goofy, Shannon being POed, sketchy guys complementing my smile, customers being obnoxious, etc. Hooray!
I have so much hw that I haven't done. I feel like I don't even go to school anymore!
