A whole mess of fun
This was an awesome weekend!
Friday night, Lauren and I went to The Summit at Grace Fellowship. It was one of those things with speakers and worsip bands and all. It was AMAZING!! I hadn't been to that type of thing in awhile, and it was so refreshing, like a breath of clean air after being around smokers for a long time. Tenth Ave, Audrey Assad, Jackie Kendall, Brant Hansen, etc were there. Some of my favorite people! Thank you for blowing me away! Thinking on what was said that night, I believe our generation is going to make great changes in the church and "Christianity" itself. Both Lauren and I wish we had invited Bryan and JT. Bryan especially seems like he's searching for something.
I had to work Saturday morning and it wasn't too terrible. They nicknamed me "Smiley Simpson."
Saturday night I went to Andrea's party. Craziness! I promised Charlie Orlando that I would dance with him. And I did. And there were lots of pictures taken. And lots of cheek pecking. Hahahahahahaha. I just kinda gave up fighting after awhile. Not that I encouraged anything! It was a lot of fun, though I do NOT have any dating interest in Charlie!!! Remember that, people! I was a little annoyed at some of the boys for acting gay. Literally. But Bryan and I had a little text chat afterwards and he was really nice and it made me happy. And he's not really gay hahaha.
Today I went to my own youth group for the first time in forever. I get so frustrated with youth groups, but today it was good. I think I'll keep going.
Tonight I'm going to Audrey Assad's farewell concert. She's moving to Nashville. It'll be so good but so sad! Hopefully she'll be really successful there and we'll all get to hear her CDs!
Tomorrow is Monday already!
