Just a lil update.. maybe a long one.. who knows.
Update on me... I have concluded all 3 travel trips, and am back home now to earn up some more vacation time so I can take another trip hopefull in October. *crosses fingers* We'll see where that leads me. I dunno yet.
So anyway...
I went to Virginia the 19th - 24th of May. It was alright. Not what I was hoping for, and not as cool as Ohio. So anyway I met very nice people, had a lot of sleep, got to see a movie, Petersburg where part of the civil war took place, and hang out with a great guy.
I could never live in Virginia. Unless I lived in a suburb outside of Richmond like Midlothian, or near Norfolk or Virginia Beach. I am truely a city girl. Ohio was different. Even though my auntie was up in the Cuyahoga Falls area, she was still only 35 - 40 min from Cleveland. So It's not like I couldn't live in a small city around her.
So anyway yesterday I was supposed to work 11 - 7:30. I got to work and was having a fantastic day. Was in it for the long hall and then a friend of mine came in and said Gen your car has been smashed. So of course I thought someone hit me, no big deal... but no, my passenger side window had been smashed in, and someone stole a very old jacket, and my purse. *STUPID* There was no money in my purse. I never carry cash. There was a checkbook, a new lotion from victoria secret, my wallet w/credit cards in them, and that's it. So of course I spent about 3 hours cancelling credit cards, another 30 min on the phone with my insurance, half an hour with the police man filing a report. *UGH* lame lame lame
In my car though at the time was my spare keys, a 300$ camera, a cd case that was on the seat with my purse and jacket, my suitcases in the back of my car, brand new goodies in the back seat. But nooooooo they didn't take any of that.. just the purse that would be of no use to them unless they sell off my social security card. *rolls eyes* They did get my driver's lisence, but it was going to expire in 3 days anyway. *cries* f*ckers So anyway the only thing that they seriously got was my time, aggrevation, and billing me 100$ for the replacement of my passenger window.
I did receive my first gift in the mail for my bday and it made me smile. I haven't opened it yet, I will on Wednesday. It's been sitting by my bed now for sometime staring at me saying "Open open open", but alas I cannot. I am being a good girl
