myungsoo has an accident and all hell breaks loose
Myungsoo is almost the definition of perfection. Loose ruffled hair, dark, emotionless eyes, clothes that hang stylishly off him, it’s almost like he was drawn to perfection, neatly trimmed down to flawless details, hours and hours of work just to highlight the stray hairs or polish the glimmer in his eyes.
And because he’s perfect, he has no idea what to do, and the natural thing to do after you squirt white stuff out of your dick was to freak out. Of course, since he’s almost like an anime character, there’s an exclamation mark above his head, and his eyebrows and eyes look less perfect than usual, but it’s already detrimental for Myungsoo, he’s used to looking perfect.
He didn’t talk to the managers, well, because it was awkward, that you were touching yourself, and yeah, they’re older, almost like an uncle or father figure to him, which would make it even more awkward. Would you really talk to your dad about something like that?
So, naturally, he went to his members. It seemed easy, since there were six others, even if he’s awkward with two of them, one is too young, and two others would nag in completely different ways. Sungyeol knew him best, Sungyeol was his best friend in the group; of course he’d find Sungyeol first.

“Dude, man, you’re gonna die…” Sungyeol tells him solemnly after dinner when Myungsoo insistently pulls him aside, claiming they’ll do the dishes together. Sunggyu looks legit surprised at the offer, Woohyun looks relieved because he doesn’t need to do them, and Hoya already dove for the couch because Woohyun wouldn’t drag him into it.
“W-Wh-what do you mean…” Myungsoo stutters. There are actual ellipses after his words.
“L, man, I love you, but you did it wrong. You’re gonna die, it’s not supposed to be like that…” Sungyeol tells him seriously and Myungsoo finds it hard to swallow. Sungyeol would know what he’s talking about, all that experience and all, that bastard was the one that told him to begin with.
“Here, I’ll save you the embarrassment,” He offers as he’s drying the forks, “I’ll tell the rest of them, leave it to me.”
Myungsoo is thankful that he has Sungyeol as his best friend. He’s not exactly sure how he should tell his parents. Untimely sickness?

As if things with Hoya weren’t awkward enough, it sure escalated to that point. Sure, they’ve had moments, rare moments, where there was a connection and they bonded, but said moments were seldom. Or maybe it was just that one time they ran into each other out on the street before they debuted.
“Um, I guess you, um, don’t need to polish up on the choreography, yeah…” Hoya tells him during their break. Apparently the teachers told Hoya to help him polish up on a few things since he’s been busy with filming in Japan.
“Y-You heard? Sungyeol told you?” Hoya looks thoughtful for a moment before he nods his head.
“You’re a nice guy, Myungsoo, I, kinda wish we weren’t so… I don’t know, awkward?” He says a few minutes later.
“Yeah, I like you too, hyung.”
“I’ll buy you food, come on…” Hoya smiles at him, but Myungsoo still finds it awkward, so he opts to look away instead.

“It’s gonna suck without you, Myungsoo-ah.” Sunggyu tells him over a warm cup of honey water. “Imagine, Woohyun as our visual instead of you…” He shudders and stares down in his cup, defeated already.
“It’s been decided?” Myungsoo looks horrified, that he’s already been replaced in a matter of two days.
“Well, obviously we can’t use Dongwoo or Sungyeol, it was a toss-up between Woohyun and Hoya according to management…” Sunggyu looks even more crestfallen and depressed. “I can just imagine, Woohyun out there doing hearts with his arms and lifting up his shirt…”
“M-Maybe it wouldn’t be that bad, I mean, we’re all maturing well, Sungjong’s looking like less of a girl now.”
Sunggyu sighs again, muttering something about how that’s another problem.
“And Hoya hyung isn’t getting edited out as often, and Dongwoo hyung isn’t as easily distracted. Sungyeol’s still an idiot though.”
Sunggyu’s brows furrow even more, and Myungsoo decides that he should shut up and slink back to bed.

“Do you know how bad this is, god you’re so stupid!” Sungjong screams at him. He’s throwing another tantrum because things aren’t going his way. Stupid Hoya’s fault for spoiling the rotten brat.
“You could at least, be nicer to me.” He says softly, and there’s almost a frame around him, face angled and his eyes are sparkling and glossy. His look of distress manages still to be more attractive than when Woohyun tries too hard with the lip biting.
“I hate you.” Sungjong starts punching his bear. “Go make me noodles, I don’t know how many more times you can do that for me.”
“Shouldn’t you be the one, you know, making me feel better?”
“You were my favourite hyung!” Sungjong threw his bear at him. “Everyone else is two years older than me, how are they supposed to understand puberty and what I’m going through. These feelings, I don’t want them but they keep coming at me, I want to be free too, do you even know how stressed I am? Go make me ramen!”
Myungsoo takes the bear and sits it by Sungjong’s bunk, petting his hair fondly before he goes off to boil water for the noodles.

Dongwoo finally gives up first. Woohyun vanishes from the room almost immediately because he's a sleazy whore.
“They’re pranking you, and no, you’re not going to die. It’s all normal.” He tells him a week after the incident. Myungsoo almost wanted to beat him with the bamboo roll he always clings to. There’s a whole array of wedged notes around him, and his fingers are curled into fists.
“And you didn’t tell me until now?”
“Woohyun threatened me, and Sungyeol told us not to tell you, and Sungjong insisted on the prank after the salty coffee, and -”
“Anything else…” Ellipses were always Myungsoo’s friend, they don’t betray you like Sungyeol or Sungjong. They were always there when he needed them most, readily available to have his back when war was waged.
Dongwoo gulps and shakes his head. Myungsoo ends up ignoring all of them for a week
