i love how my icon totally works for this ;w; peaches_n_kream June 2 2011, 22:21:43 UTC
(lol, i'd offer to write you kimin, but i don't think i'll ever be able to pull off writing kibum :/ besides, the fandom stereotype where he's always engrossed in a thick book or script... //side-eyes it so hard)

BUT ANYWAYS. omg, what are you going on about, this was amajing <333 //showers it with pink bunnies and nemo fishies //insert deranged cackling here affection and loads of flaily fangirlish lurve~~~

all these different aus were just *_____* aus, past lives, parallel worlds...whatever the term, the idea itself is intriguing. i have to say, this line really pulled everything together for me: relying on Sungmin’s back to keep him grounded to reality, because of the recurring back-to-back idea; i'm not going to call it foreshadowing, but it's a total sign that their physical contact can be close-read in each vignette, nyahahaha.

i can't decide which i liked the best, there's something to adore in each, be it characterization or buildup (good grief, you giant tease :|) or just plain description, setting or emotional. or all the above. how sometimes they end happy, sometimes they don't, sometimes the scene simply cuts off; they're short and quick snapshots, but also potent enough to drive the variations of their relationship home. i'm tempted to say this is bordering character study, because even though most of the stories are au, they exhibit different aspects of haemin; it's not fragmented in the sense that the story is disjointed, but fragmented in the sense that each story defamiliarizes their relationship or personality. eeek~ rambling all over the place and probably misinterpreting your intentions, but the style was really really really interesting ;w;

this was a totally fun read because not only did you sample different aus, you sampled different genres. i get the impending doom/pain-filled/sad-and-bawl-worthy-angst but i also get funny/fluffy/omfg-hae-proposed-shrieking-rn-brb-need-to-throw-a-slipper-to-shut-my-neighbor's-dog-up, and all the drama and gen and awesome banter in between.

and ack, that ending ;~~~; why am i getting a bittersweet feeling from it?! idek. the thought of hae considering their other ~possibilities~ makes me reeeally happy, because it could be curiosity or it could be love more, yet...maybe it's the thought that those possibilities can only occur in an alternate reality? huhuhu~ in any case, hae contemplating their relationship and wondering and min barging in on him is just <3

thanks for spreading the lovely that is haemin sharing ^^~

ps: lmao, i see you two talking about me, i seeeee youuu~ //puts on my best creeper face 8| i love how i'm, apparently, associated with haemin :'DDD

lmao im gonna pick up that.. err.. mouse and write again, hopefully with 2am soothing me, things will go well?

im shamelessly asking for kimin because kibum is breathtaking and the world could use some kibum/sungmin to make it more perfect. because perfect plus perfect means perfect. i can't even. kyah.

i ramble. gonna reply to your perceptions now. =DDD

grr, don't get me on the stuffed fishes and bunnies where they play tea party with them. don't. get. me. started.

i liked how you described it better than me, parallel worlds, where they're both entertainers (the rival movie one and the metallic one, kinda?), past lives, like the cowboy or the samurai one, like more of the historical ones, and and AU, iuno like the cave one or the police one, i love how you can describe it better than myself.

and i should have started it with the egypt exploration one, since that one included the grounding him to reality, ughh now the piece seems overall weaker because i can't order it properly, nor can i give it a decent ending, like unorderedlist posted out TT^TT

and YES!! i tried for the simple cut scenes, like freeze frames from a roll of camera film (the really old ones, like the ones you need to actually develop in a darkroom and hang on coatlines so they can dry), and i'm glad it came off strong enough for you to pick up

need-to-throw-a-slipper-to-shut-my-neighbor's-dog-up /rolls, laughing/ ohmygod your descriptions. i threw the proposal one just for the romance because overall it lacked one fragment where they were actually, you know, concretely together.

the ending seemed much weaker than how i would have liked, but this piece has been brewing for literally a month, even though i haven't had much time to work on it (since HK was a-ma-zing), it needed to get out of my system because it's been there far too long already.

omgomgomg i love you, you give me the confidence to write anything, even if it sucks, ngl. =3

AHAHAHA. BUT WE LOVE CLICHÉS, DO WE NOT?!?!?!?!1!1!1! OTL

haha, did not, i was building off your descriptions! and since you had kid!fic and potential future!fic and club scene that may have been them as young men out hanging if they weren't in sj... alternate realities \o/!

nooo~ that would ruin your transitioning though~! the picking-up-where-you-left-off that you kept up for more than half the fic :'3 that's such a hard way to transition, haha, i commend you for slipping it in. and like she said, the ending is fine! like i mentioned, it's kind of bittersweet, but overall, romantic; not romantic in the lovey-dovey sense, romantic in the pleasant, idealist sense~ as if their current selves is them at their best, regardless of the many possibilities of who they could or could have been...

oooh, i really like that comparison. and it totally fits, guh *w*

(ok, it's kind of really sad how thin the walls are :| don't get me started on when their baby cries in the middle of the night //sighs)

and i'm glad you did! again, this was like a sampling of different genres and since you were examining their relationship...lol, this is a roundabout way of saying i'm glad they got a happy ending in that story, instead of killed ;w; although, that was tragically beautiful in its own way~ (that and who am i kidding, HAEMIN BEING ROMANTIC AND SWEET AND CUTE AND ASDFGHJLK)

i'm glad you enjoyed hk! still insanely envious, btw ^^~ it's been a couple years since i've been, lol.

it doesn't suck! and i seriously anticipate more of you amazing ideas, so do write moarrrrr~

i honestly totally forgot like, some of the fragments already. i didn't remember the club scene and the kid one tbh...

and yes, i tried (honestly, forced it) the transitioning. some were smoothing, some where rough as sandpaper, but i couldn't care anymore because i was reaching the breaking point.

idealist sense, i like that a lot, because life isn't going to end up happy and perfect. being idealistic is what people should strive for. again, my era of writing currently is aiming for more realism, perhaps domesticness, i don't know, i guess i'm trying to justify my change in writing style (my old works were pitiful when it comes to this sense. it probably was easier to read/more openly avaliable, but it sucked imho and i like this era much more?)

haemin being romantic, and now i'm kinda halfway through an angsty oneshot because i can write freely again, with music blasting in my room and the smells of dinner wafting into my room. i really miss the food in hk, so cheap and accessible (like how sungmin is accessible to donghae all the time [the onepiece dress for easy access] /shotshotshot/)

you should write too, seriously. you're done exams, right? pick up that pen, er, keyboard and start typing. *pokes you with a shovel*

i think this type of transitioning worked really well with the fic style though, because it links the stories back-to-back like haemin meet back-to-back :3

i am totally liking what i'm reading, so i'm glad you like and are comfortable with this era. realism in fiction? oh yeah, definitely liking the sound of that.

even when it's not fic, you have pretty descriptions :'3 omg, you tease! the food in hk is so drool-worthy 8Q_____ (like minAHAHAHA, OMG! *w*)

i am done! i'm just incredibly lazy and unmotivated, hahaha //eyes wips
but i'm determined to be somewhat productive, so i'll try to have something up soon :3

ilu you make my writing seem so much more than it actually is. it's probably worthless but you manage to make it sound so good, ilu

realism. which is why i was so fascinated with beast's comeback with the fact & fiction. definately an interesting cocnept to grasp at.

and the food is always ready because so much people are in HK, they can sell it quick. sungmin would always be ready for donghae in bed =DDD (stretching it, i know)

well, i dont know, write~ i know it's hard, i usually don't bother and i just kick back and rot away for a while. wait for the moment bb, it hits you like a fucking train.
