~*~*~*~*~ Later that night *~*~*~*~
“Kyuhyun ah…” Sungmin whispered softly, his voice barely audible after all the sobbing earlier that night. He held his pillow tightly against his chest, his eyes glittering from the moonlight reflecting the tears that began welling up in his eyes.
“Hyung, we’ll be okay.” Kyuhyun said softly. He sat upright in his bed as he looked at his room mate solemnly. It almost seemed impossible that they would split up, but then again nothing lasts forever. “Nothing lasts forever right. As long as we are Super Junior in our hearts, it doesn’t matter if we are together or not.”
“But I don’t want to split up from you guys, everything will feel awkward and odd without you guys…” Sungmin began weeping again silently in his bed, his head buried in his pillow as his voice was muffled.
Kyuhyun got up and climbed into his hyung’s bed and held him in his arms.
“Nothing will be awkward,” Kyuhyun whispered into his ear, “we’ll still be the same Kyuhyun and Sungmin, unless you want that to change…” Sungmin suddenly held onto Kyuhyun’s shirt as his tears stained the cotton.

Heechul, Leeteuk, Hankyung sat at the table solemnly while Kangin and Yesung were filling mugs with hot tea.
“So what’s actually going on hyung?” Heechul asked, his hands buried deep in his hair, “why is this happening to us.”
“I don’t know, do you think they would tell me everything.” Kangin placed a mug beside him as he sat down beside Leeteuk, who continued explaining what he knew about their situation, “They just told me, we’re going to split up.”
“Nothing else, just that. You guys are splitting up.” Yesung spoke quietly.
“I can’t believe this is happening, how can they just do this.” Heechul snapped at them as he slammed his mug down.
“Heechul ah, don’t startle the younger ones.” Hankyung grabbed his arm and jerked at it. “They just went back to their rooms, come on we have stay calm.”
“Aish you try staying calm, you could just go back to China and stuff.” Kangin blurted out angrily.
“Youngwoon.” Leeteuk barked loudly, “the last thing we need is for us to break apart right now. We have to stay together and show them that we’re a group.”
“Be happy, be optimistic, maybe they will reconsider their decision.” Yesung whispered softly, his hands wrapped around his mug. “Maybe they won’t split us up.”
“We have to stay strong for them.” Heechul continued.
“If we fall apart… they won’t stay strong either….” Hankyung said in between sobs.
“We’ll pull through not only for our sakes, but for their sakes too.” Leeteuk added as he clapped Kangin on the shoulders, giving it a reassuring squeeze.
“Ashhh…” Kangin nodded as the five of them looked at each other sadly, the words left unspoken communicated as their eyes locked in midair. Nods of assurance, nods of comfort, nods of support, all they did was look at each other and acknowledge each other. Heechul buried himself against Hankyung’s shoulder as faint sobs were heard.

Eunhyuk sat at the foot of Donghae’s bed, their usual late night chatters muffled with sadness and grief. Crumpled up tissues surrounded the bed as Donghae reached for another tissue to wipe his tears.
Eunhyuk was sad himself, but seeing Donghae cry this hard made him even more sad. He hadn’t seen Donghae cry like this since his fathers death. And there was nothing Eunhyuk could do to help him. All they could do was wait.
Donghae reached for another tissue as Eunhyuk laid down beside him, his arms instinctively wrapped around the boys body as they snuggled closer together.
~*~*~ 2 Days Later *~*~*~
Newspaper articles had begun surfacing about rumours of Super Junior break up. Everyone was sad as the chances of this actually happening became more likely.
Everything was sad. The food Ryeowook made tasted slightly bitter, the sky murky and dark. Leeteuk walked into the room, his face sad and gloomy.
“I’ve talked with management, the decision is final.” Leeteuk spat out as he tossed the package in his hands onto the table.
“Hyung what is that.” Shindong asked as the package landed beside him. He picked at the pink and dark blue ribbon that surrounded it.
“Fan sent it in or something.” Leeteuk said coarsely as he went to the bathroom.
Shindong unrapped the ribbon and opened the pack. “Ahhh.”
“What is it?” Ryeowook asked, his back facing against the table. The rest of the members looked shocked, their mouths open and hanging.
Inside the pack was a letter with cut up letters that wrote a message.
“Super Junior, forever 13. What happened to forever 13?”
Leeteuk walks out of the bathroom, his hair messy and water dripping down his face. He took a look at the message and merely shrugged his shoulders. “I’m sick and tired of all of this, can we just leave things as they are.”
“But hyung you have to talk to our managers.” Siwon spoke up, the other members nodding in agreement.
“No I don’t. Why is it always me? Do you know what they do in there, its like talking to yourself, you don’t even know what you’re doing in there. You think you’re making a point but they counter everything you say.” Leeteuk spat out. “I’m sick, I’m really sick of this.”
Everybody fell silent. No one spoke a word as they all directed their attention elsewhere. The only sound left in the room was the crackling sounds of Ryeowook’s eggs on the frying pan.
“Whatever, I’m tired of this shit.” Leeteuk left the kitchen and went back into his room, slamming his door in the process.
Kibum was the first to break the silence as he got up from the couch.
“We can’t all pressure Leeteuk hyung, he has to deal with all of this and it is hard enough. All the pressure and demands we give him do not help him, he is hurting too.”
“Ughh, Kangin, come with me. Let’s go have a chat with management.” Heechul announced as Kangin nodded, the two boys leaving their apartment to go find their managers.
Kibum, who was the first to left the kitchen, went back into his room and quietly sat down on his bed. He closed his eyes as he began muttering to himself as the other members outside started getting ready for their night schedule.
“Hyung?” Ryeowook poked his head through the door.
“Wookie…” Leeteuk looked up at his dongsaeng, his eyes red and his hand clutching a tissue. “Wookie I’m sorry, I… I didn’t mean to say all of that…”
Ryeowook walked into their room and hugged Leeteuk tightly.
“Hyung please don’t give up on us. We need you.” Ryeowook whispered softly, his voice trembling as he was almost in tears.
“Jungsu will never give up on Wookie.” Leeteuk patted the younger boy on the head. Ryeowook was the most delicate member, his emotions fragile and he cried very easily. Leeteuk felt especially bad about yelling at him earlier.
~*~*~* Later that night ~*~*~*~
“I’m going out first!” Leeteuk hollered from the hallway as he left the building. He pushed open the doors as the cool night breeze rushed into the hall. The wind was cold, it stung his skin but it also made him feel comfortable. The moon outside was big and shone beautifully in the dark sky.
He figured he could use some fresh air to clear up his mind while he waited for the rest of Super Junior to finish up with their interviews. Leeteuk needed to remain strong, just like what he promised the older guys, and Leeteuk had let them down in the midst of things.
He walked outside as he stretched his body, getting rid of all the unhappy stuff. He jumped up and down on the pavement when a reflection caught the corner of his eye. Leeteuk looked over as the glint of the metal shimmered brightly in the dark. He walked over to the grass field when suddenly the mechanism caught his foot.
The metal clamped shut, instantly tearing flesh, bone and tendon as the metal drew blood. Leeteuk let out a low cry of pain as he fell to the ground, the metal not budging to release its target.
Shit shit shit. Leeteuk grimaced in pain as the mechanism tightened its grip around his ankle everytime he tried pulling at it. The more he fumbled with the device, the harder it clamped shut.
“Help…” Leeteuk cried softly, his voice barely audible from the pain. His bottom lip quivered as the blood soaked through the fabric of his jeans. The dark ruby liquid flowing at a steady rate.
Leeteuk heard footsteps from behind him as he turned around, hoping it was someone that heard his cry. The figure walked closer and closer to where Leeteuk was sitting.
“Help me…” Leeteuk squeaked as he saw the figure, but the figure slashed forward before he had a chance to scream. The glint of the blade was the last thing Leeteuk saw before he collapsed to the ground, his blood forming a small puddle, his eyes empty of emotion and life. His hand slowly released its grip from the metal mechanism as he crumpled to the floor. His breathing soon came to a stop.
~*~*~* Inside the building ~*~*~*~
“Kangin hyung, Siwon ah.” Eunhyuk waved at his members as he emerged from his room. Yesung and Hankyung also came out of the washroom at the same time.
“Sungmin and Ryeowook aren’t done yet.” Kangin reported, his voice raspy and scratchy. “Aishh my voice is so dry.” Yesung threw an arm around Kangin.
“We’ll make lemon tea when we get home. My voice hurts too.” Hankyung said as he stretched his arms, narrowly missing Eunhyuk.
“I think Heechul and Shindong are almost done too.” Siwon added.
Donghae and Kibum just exited their rooms as Kangin finished his sentence.
“Where’s Leeteuk, I thought I saw him finish first when he walked past my room.” Kibum asked.
“Maybe he is outside. I want some fresh air.” Kangin said as he got up from his chair. The rest of the finished members followed Kangin as they walked outside.
“Leeteuk!!!” They all hollered when they couldn’t find him anywhere. They had been searching for 5 minutes already and the area wasn’t very big.
Sungmin, Ryeowook, Shindong and Heechul joined them soon as everyone began looking for Leeteuk.
Suddenly Yesung let out a scream as he fell in the shadows. A few of the members went over to where he was as they saw Yesung shaking uncontrollably on the ground, his finger shaking as he pointed at something in the darkness. He had tripped over something on the ground.
Almost instantly, Yesung fell to the ground as Kibum, who was the closest, caught him before he collided to the ground. Kangin wobbled and crashed into Siwon as he fainted at the sight, Ryeowook fell backwards as Kyuhyun caught the smaller boy in his arms. Soon enough, the rest of the members started coming over as Kibum, Siwon and Kyuhyun called for help.
The something had been the bloody remains of their leader. Leeteuk.
