Pretty sick so far. My dormates on both sides are both awesome, but other than that my floor seems really dull. They all watch MTV and love Jersey Shore, I watched an episode with them and it was fucking terrible. The music program I'm in has made me meet a lot of interesting new people, which is awesome. One thing I forgot is how much effort it takes to build a relationship with all these people. Shit is ridiculous.
I clogged my toilet on the second day I was here, and we've had a fire alarm already. It's barely been a week, so I know shit is going to keep happening. Which is cool.
Tomorrow, we're going to the other dorm since this DJ dude bought 2000 dollars worth of equipment for his room and we're just gonna rave all night. Will be awesome.
One thing I've re-realized is that my sound on guitar is really different from what I've heard from anyone. Which is exactly what I've been aiming for, for the past two years. I don't want to sound generic, I don't want to imitate other artists nor do I want to sound ridiculously mundane and/or bland by playing out of the box sounds all the time.
Biggest downsides about Uni life is easily waking up for classes early again. That, and I can't cook for shit so I'm slowing dying physically probably. But shit, being away from my mom is amazing. I don't know why her presence annoys the shit out of me, but I feel far better out here than ever. Terrible diet or not.
