What I didn't like about my Stop & Shop Experience

First of all the size. It's gargantuan, but I felt claustrophobic the entire time. Very confusing.
Second, it's a new layout I have to learn.
Third is the drive. (Granted it's a drive I'll never have to make, since I won't drive fast enough and take too long to get there.)
Fourth, the music sucked. I feel like my life was better BEFORE being forced to listen to Paula Abdul's Opposites Attract.
Fifth, the stupid paging for deli meats. I don't care that orders 33,34,35,and 36 from the deli kiosk are ready. That's orders 33,34,35, and 36 from the deli kiosk are ready. this did cause a pause in their sucky Muzak station.
Sixth, and lastly, the beeper thingy. Although OK, it's saving the company money by not having to employ cashiers. However, it seems pretty reasonable to postulate that in a matter of months, the cost of product loss will be just as hefty as paying cashiers. There are no checks to make sure customers aren't stealing. And as we all know, loss causes a company to lose money, which will drive up prices so the company can recuperate financial losses. Also, in today's jobless economy, I think it's pretty shitty that they are eliminating positions.

So that's my stance on Stop & Shop. Take it as you will, but know that I'm opposed for multiple valid reasons.
