so awesome.
this week is tech week and as you all know tech week is hell. it is going to be one of those weeks where i have to keep reminding myself that this is my passion and that i love to do it because i do. but sometimes it can be difficult if i have a paper or lots of hw due the next day and i'm standing onstage at midnight waiting for a light cue lol. but i love it so much. i think the show will be fantastic especially because the people are and wow did i pick the right department they are so awesome. i love the profs so much.
i saw kanye west in concert this weekend and he was...ok. i thought he put on a great show BUT he showed up and hour late, there was no opening act, he only played for 45 minutes, and there was a girl who was so drunk next to me that she kept resting on my shoulder... and mind you this was on the floor so there was nowhere i could go to get away from that. but that was fun and the rest of the night was definitely fun too. seriously i do not mind that greek life is so big here because frat parties are a fun place to go and dance when there is nothing fun or exciting going on back at the dorm. so yea i love my school.
this weekend is parents weekend and it is also my show. yay. i plan on watching the office and grey's when i'm not onstage to catch myself up on everything i've been missing during the rehearsal process.
oh and i can't wait for the cast party of this show and the funny thing is... it's going to be on a weeknight lol oh theater people... i have really gross bruises from my beating scene but i'm not going to tell the guy who beats me because then the scene will lose the believeability... oh well my legs can take it. and with the costumes and stuff i think it will be ok cuz i have soooo many layers.
ok not only did we get kanye and jack's mannequin but for the spring concert we are trying to get either the fray or goo goo dolls.... i know you're jealous!! lol seriously that would be amazing either way.
hopefully i will survive the week.
