 Consider the following proof.

Let w = work, m = money, p = power, e = evil, and t = time.

----------------------------------------------------------------

FIRST POSTULATE: "Money is power."

m = p

SECOND POSTULATE: "Money is the root of all evil."

m = sqrt(e)

THIRD POSTULATE: "Time is money."

m = t

----------------------------------------------------------------

It therefore follows that:

p = t = m = sqrt(e)

Giving us:

t = sqrt(e) and p = sqrt(e)

Power, the rate at which work is performed or energy is transmitted, is given as:

p = w / t

Substituting power and time for the root of all evil, which we have shown to be equivalent, and solving for w, we arrive at:

sqrt(e) = w / sqrt(e)   =>   e = w^2 /   e   =>   w^2 = e^2   =>   w = e

Yup. You saw it here. W = E.  Mathematical proof that work is, in fact, evil. EEEEEEEEEEEVVVVVVVVIIIIIIIIIIILLLLLLLLLLL!!!

rat race, nerd stuff
